ARBS Exhibition Stand Design and Build
ARBS is the trade exhibition for air conditioning, refrigeration and building services in Australia. In 2027 the show is ARBSQLD, on 2 and 3 June at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, with more than 4,000 visitors and 110 exhibitors expected. Brij & Co designs and builds ARBS stands for HVAC, refrigeration and controls brands, with Brisbane builds supported by our production facility in Queensland.

ARBS in 2027 and beyond
ARBS Exhibitions Ltd is a not-for-profit run by the industry. The national ARBS show is held every two years; the last one ran from 5 to 7 May 2026 at MCEC in Melbourne, with 10,200 attendees and more than 300 exhibitors. In the years between, the organiser runs a state show.
| Show | ARBSQLD 2027 |
|---|---|
| Dates | Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 June 2027, with a professional development program on 1 June and site tours on 3 June |
| Venue | Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) |
| Expected scale | 4,000+ visitors and 110+ exhibitors |
| Space options | Shell scheme with 2.4m white walls, or space only with carpet tiles included |
The organiser reports that 76% of 2025 attendees held or influenced purchasing decisions. The next national show is due in 2028 and we will update this page when dates are announced.
Designing for HVAC and building services buyers
ARBS visitors are mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, facility managers and wholesalers. They know the equipment and want to see the detail: coil construction, compressor technology, control interfaces and efficiency data.
Heavy equipment. Chillers, VRF condensers, fan coils and duct systems are heavy and awkward. We plan plinths, floor loading and the delivery sequence so the equipment is placed before the stand closes around it.
Live controls. Building management and controls brands do better with a working demo. We build wall-mounted panels with screens, sensors and controllers wired and tested before the show.
Meeting space. Specification decisions take time. A meeting area with a screen for drawings gives your engineers somewhere to talk through a project.
Shell scheme or space only?
Shell scheme
ARBS shell scheme stands come with 2.4m white walls and set-up and removal included. We can add printed wall graphics, shelving, lighting and counters so the stand looks like your brand rather than a white box.
Space only
Space only gives you the floor with carpet tiles, and the stand is yours to design. It suits brands showing large equipment or wanting an open, island-style stand. We design, build, install and remove it.
ARBS in Brisbane: building at BCEC
ARBSQLD is held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) in South Brisbane. As exhibition stand builders in Brisbane, we support the build from our Brisbane production facility, with design and project management from our Sydney head office.
A two-day show keeps the stand on the floor for less time, but the build window is usually just as tight. Heavy HVAC equipment has to be delivered and placed before stand walls go up, so we plan the delivery order with the organiser and your logistics provider well before move-in.
ARBS stand costs
ARBS publishes its floor space rates: shell scheme at $460 per square metre plus GST, and space only at $410 per square metre plus GST. On top of that, typical stand ranges from our exhibition stand cost guide are:
| Stand | Typical range | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Shell scheme upgrade | Quoted to suit | Graphics, shelving, counter and lighting in the shell |
| Custom 3m x 3m (space only) | $5,000 to $15,000 | Controls and components brands |
| Custom 3m x 6m (space only) | $10,000 to $25,000 | Equipment plus a meeting table |
| Island, 6m x 6m and up | From about $25,000 | Chillers, VRF systems and meeting rooms |
Exhibition stand ideas for HVAC and refrigeration
Show airflow
Air is invisible. Ribbons, smoke-free haze effects or a clear duct section with a fan running make airflow something visitors can see.
Efficiency numbers up front
Contractors and engineers compare efficiency ratings and running costs. Put the numbers on the wall, not just in the brochure.
Cut-away units
A cut-away condenser or fan coil shows build quality inside the casing, which is where engineers judge it.
Training space
ARBS visitors include apprentices and technicians. A short training corner with product demos builds brand loyalty early.

I could not recommend Brij and Co enough! We've worked with a few stand builders over the years, but Neil and the team are the best at what they do.
The stand was beautifully executed, effective, and delivered at a very reasonable price.
They perfectly brought our vision for the stand to life. Since upgrading from more basic setups, we’ve been noticeably busier at shows, with customers often lining up around the stand to engage with our products. As a start-up surrounded by much larger, more established brands, that kind of impact is incredibly valuable.
The team is also warm, friendly, and super helpful during the stressful bump-in process, which is also a huge plus.
We had such a great experience working with Brij & CO for our stand at the Sydney Hair Festival. The booth was beautifully executed, and the quality and attention to detail really stood out. Everyone loved it!!
Neil was always very responsive and easy to deal with, and Anna was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the process. They also created oversized props for us, which turned out amazing and made a big impact at the event.
Looking forward to next year's expo!
Brij&Co have built our (Tilley Soaps) Gift Fair stands for several years now and always do a fantastic job. Professional, reliable, and great attention to detail. Thanks to Neil and the team, we highly recommended.
We had such a beautiful experience with Brij & Co. They could bring my vision to life. Organising those type of events can be stressful but they made the experience very pleasant and easy. I will definitely be using their services again BKT (Beauty Keeps Transforming) in our next hair and beauty expo. Thank you so much Anna and Neil.
Brijnco is hands down the best fair stand manufacturer we've worked with. We were impressed by their innovative designs and commitment to delivering exactly what we needed for our event. The team at Brijnco is not only creative but also highly responsive. They listened to all our requirements and ensured everything was perfect. If you need a stand that stands out, Brijnco is your go-to choice!
